We've had ours for a while now. It left scorch marks on the sofa and the curtains. It burned out last winter and rose again a week later. The feathers glow softly at night, like a lamp. It keeps the whole living room warm all evening. Not sure I'd buy it again.

The feathers glow softly at night, like a lamp. It sets off the smoke detector every morning. Mixed feelings, but mostly good.
