Took a chance on it. It weighs the same whether it's empty or full. I packed a tent, a stove and a kayak, and there was still room. The zipper sticks whenever it's below freezing. The straps stay comfortable even after a full day's hike. Not sure I'd buy it again.

We've had ours for a while now. I packed a tent, a stove and a kayak, and there was still room. The zipper sticks whenever it's below freezing. Finding my keys takes ten minutes of rummaging. It weighs the same whether it's empty or full. Would buy again.
